I do like se...I agree with so many of these points. I do like seeing images of women that look more like me than most women on television but I'm disappointed that it seems focused on only one "brand" of disability. I've definitely caught the voyeur angles and I don't think those are necessary. I'm trying, too, to challenge myself to embrace the reality that the voices of disabled women can (and should) be VERY different from my own. I just wish I didn't feel so annoyed through much of the dialogue. I feel like much of their day to day stuff is somewhat immature and actually much more carefree/spontaneous than many of us (people with disabilities) can often be in "real life"....but alas, I'll keep hanging on too.
